Esty shop might re-open

So I have thought about restocking my Esty shop. I need to post up prints for sale. I know about digital downloads but non will be on my shop. We all know digital downloads are not safe. People share downloads like its candy. I will have 3 or 4 sizes for sale. Poster sizes.

Keeping it simple.

If I get money I can make more hand crafted charms or dolls.

100s of items gets you noticed but if you don't have the money to keep you crafting...

That is why I ask for a small donation on my Pateron.

A hero in my life

When I was about 8 year old, my mother signed me up to take private art classes. This lady opened my eyes open to a whole new world. Mrs. Sherrie Wells. She taught a small group of kids how to draw. I gained a deep passion for art at a young age all because of Sherrie Wells. I got older and I took art classes through out my four years of high school. I then went on to a university and I  graduated with a BA in art. In order to get the last grade for my BA I had to do an art show. Sherrie Wells knew about it. She  came to my show. I gave her a personal tour. She was so proud of me. It was because of her I took my art this far. Sherrie Wells was  a real hero in my heart. That hero passed away yesterday. She will be remembered in my heart. To her family I hope you find peace. She was a blessing to me as she was to everyone.

Many Of you have seen my calling card. It has my etsy account. 

I do not have anything up on the site for a couple of reasons. 

1. I am making products for the store

2.  I lack funding to finish some of my products. 

So yes, it is a slow process.  I am currently working on clay charms: Chocolate Doughnut, Cherry Doughnut, Space cake and Rainbow Cakes, and I will add a simple white/yellow cake.

SHARE WITH THE WORLD!!

I WANT YOU TO SHARE MY ART WITH THE WORLD. 
I need your help.

Give me feed back so that I know how well I am doing. 

With your help I can gain audience.  

With your help I can possibly get some pocket money, to pay for more art supplies or even pay a bill. Yes I admit it, I have struggled to find a job.  I can not find realization of why I am in my current situation? Maybe so I can create more art? How with little income? That is where I need your help. Just sharing my website with friends, family, anyone, I just might get that one person to actually buy a product.  

I keep thinking of ways to get a financial start, so I can produce more art, buy an advertisement, or purchase my own prints and other products, so I can be a vendor at a art and craft fair. 

The only way at the moment is for you to share my vision with the world. 
Sure I could sign up with gofundme, or pateron (or other fundraising sites) but they all want you to give a "prize". The last time I looked up fundraising or donations, you donated with the kindness of your heart and you did not get a prize for donating your prize was the joy in your heart knowing that the money will be spent wisely. 
If I do not even have the finances to mail out a monthly gift because you donated me money. Do you see the issue here? 
That is like me giving you a gift to you on any certain day and me  expecting a gift back in return? 
Sorry, for me venting on that topic. 

OH yes I very well welcome your donations too. I would spend the money wisely, as stated above, buy and advertisement, buy better supplies, buy more supplies to create more art. So on and so on. If you wish to just donate to me and not buy art let me know. I do have a pay pal account. I do have a ailing address. 

Crafting Charms

I have been crafting charms. I do not do it every week so I do not have a lot of charms. I am still learning. I stumbled up on this craft accidentally when I was watching PBS a crater who made her necklaces out of polymer clay. I was surprised what you could do with the clay. I thought it was just for kids to tinker with. I Goggled polymer clay tutorials. I found a few crafters teaching you how but they were all speed up vids with little instructions. I re-googled slower instructions polymer clay. I found a crafter, Heather Wells. I was hooked because she can teaches step by step even if the vid is l-o-n-g but I need that type of teacher it's how I learn.

I have decided to ask for help. My husband and I are blessed to be in Florida. We have had a rough start. If you can help us we will be gratuitously thankful. Short story: (I am trying to get my friend the money to get caught up on mortgage payments) 

The picture you see is a picture of (starting left to right) Jody,Kimber,Roy.  Jody is married to me and Roy is our best friend. He was gracious enough to say "Hey, move to Florida, I will let you live with me and we will get mortgage papers signed in your name."  If any one knows me I am always up for an adventure, even if the adventure has a risk. Jody and I had some money saved up,  so we took the opportunity.  Roy had to stop payments on the mortgage due to other life emergencies. It was like every bad thing that could happen did happen, and all at once. We had some money left over from the big move from Texas, so we helped him out with what we could, paying for other bills. Roy contacted the bank whom is dealing with the mortgage, to let them know he does want to keep paying but he has had issues. They keep working with him  but it  has  been in an endless "loop" with the mortgage company. Florida is our dream place to be. The house we live in is all we have.  We do not have any money to pack and leave, in case they decide to foreclose. I do not like asking for help, but does any one?  The company will not accept any payments unless it's in full payment. Which the total is close to $9,000.  If we can get that money, we can get caught up on the payments.  My husband and my friend both have jobs but it's not enough to save and pay the full payment. We need your help, so that we can keep this beautiful home. If you do help out please share our story with anyone. We appreciate all of the love and support you give us. Thank you, Jody,Kimber,Roy

one Sunday morning, drive]

Jody happily says to Kimber: "Smile you're in paradise!"

[Kimber sighs]

Kimber: "I don't feel like I am in paradise."

Jody: "How can you not feel like that?" We have many beaches, lots of stores, lots of trees and the weather is always fantastic!"

[Scene jumps back to Kimber and Jody's house in TX in January and her friend who has come to see them to discuss moving to Florida]

I have not thought about that day in a while. It came back to me today. 

Why do you not feel like you are not in paradise? (You ask)

My friend who owns the home. Has been fighting the mortgage company. I love him to death for doing so much for us. I just wish we had enough money to pay off the mortgage.

I will be in paradise when the home is ours. I will be in paradise when I can stop worrying about, will be homeless? Will we have money to move if we can not keep the house we love?

I try to keep hopes up. I keep praying that we can keep this house. This is our dream to be here. Yes we took a big risk.
Its just one day at a time.

My random question is, what's a last resort? Maybe a fundraiser to save our paradise?  If so would anyone help?
I would help someone who was in the same situation, if I had the money to do so.

My grandmother survive breast cancer. I know of other people who have gotten breast cancer. I say people because men can get it too. 

I have donated in the past to breast cancer research, but I want to get more involved, this is where I am asking you to help. 

Most know I work as a Avon rep. Well at Avon they have the Avon Foundation for woman.

They offer all creators/artists to create with out breaking their budget. It is a place where you can upload any image, and put it on any item they have in their store. This is like going to vistaprint or walmart dot com to do the same thing upload and have them print it.  

 BUT Zazzle you can have your own store for free! You do not have to worry about who to find to be your printer nor do you have to worry about having to buy a ton of product and wonder how to sell and ship it. (This site is wonderful for new creators wanting to get their art out there.) This is not like etsy where you have to be the printer, the shipper or anything else. Although I do love etsy and I do have a store there. I think zazzle is a way to start so you can see if this is where you want to go to. 

They print,ship,and let you have a store for free. Upload image (non-copyrighted) Post for it sale.Or keep to your self and print it. Tell your friends, or let other shops find you within zazzle.com. Then a customer buys it from zazzle, you get a small % of the pay because they work just like a consignment shop. They have to pay their makers something after all. Oh and zazzle ships out the product, you don't have to do a lot, just advertise yourself well and hopefully your pockets grow with extra cash.

Starting up

This is a work in progress.

I just wish we could mesh the domain into the google webpages, does that make sense? Google already has https://sites.google.com/  

I just wish they were more user friendly, I do not understand code, nor do I want to try to even wrap my brain around it. I like weebly's set up it's a written for you just drag n drop but it turns out to be 14 day trail not a free free like I thought? 

This is going to take some time, in the mean time go over to the other blog, it has more to read, if you enjoy, stick with me I am going to try to get it down to just one site. I am so scatterbrained sometimes.

I have realized google is doing a lot of good things these days.

I can buy a domain name, so I did. $12 a year is nice. That is better than $60 a month. Yikes.

I also hear google is going to produce an operating system Hooray!!
